Fun with Eavesdroppers...
Anyone else ever experienced this? You are out with a friend, shopping and enjoying conversation, when you notice that someone behind you is totally listening to everything that you and your companion are saying? In cases like that, I like to screw with the eavesdroppers. Case in point:(Scene: The BLS and Mother of BLS are shopping for a birthday present for Older Brother. He had mentioned wanting a portable tool chest with wheels from Lowe's. BLS and Mother of BLS have found one and are happily chatting about the week's events when the BLS notices a middle-aged Martha Huber sort of woman (BONUS points to those of you who get that reference, by the way) hanging on to their every word.)
The BLS: Oh, yeah, you can TOTALLY fit a body in here! (pause) But to be safe, let's look at the hacksaws, too.
I thought my mother was going to lose it. But it was so freaking worth it!

Hmm, never knew our families were related.
The look on that lady's face must have been priceless. I love screwing with people that way. =)
Martha = Desperate Housewives nosy neighbor, season 1 (the only season I watched).
