Apparently, Niki Taylor is suing E! because she felt that they have committed an act of Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress against her.

I haven't seen the television show that she claims committed such a horrible act against her, but I'm curious to see how exactly she plans to prove her case. She's claiming IIED, fraud, slander, and invasion of privacy... but from what I see, the television program chronicles her past struggles (I'm assuming they hit on the tragic death of her sister and her near-fatal car crash) and I don't think you need a celebrity's permission to report on FACTS.

I'll be keeping my eye on this to see how it turns out...
