I'm a student who likes to fly under the radar in my classes. So when a professor has been calling on me more times in the first weeks of school than I was called on during my entire second year of law school, I have to ask: Does the professor call on me because he likes what I have to say, or is he looking for me to crash and burn in front of 40 of my collegues?

Discuss.

I think, your professor is just hoping that if he keeps calling on you, maybe you will stop blogging in the middle of his class. =P

Marilyn-- Smart ass. I don't blog in class anymore. Too many people think they know me as it is... :)

I have often wondered the same thing, especially where a prof suddenly discovers me and then proceeds to call on me in every. single. class. My personal opinion is that he/she wants to watch me crash and burn; and god do I work hard to not let that happen.

Probably the latter: he wants to see you crash and burn.

Take heart. I just ran across another student who seems to be crashing and burning with his state Bar.
