It's a shame you had to do this but it's udnerstandable. Some people are juvenile.
Having had my fair share of stalkers and wack jobs harassing me, I completely understand. Haloscan comments are even better, you can block people's IP's, (thus preventing them from commenting on your blog.) Fun for the whole family!
